NOTICE - DATE CHANGE TO AUGUST 15TH
Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts with other shows we have now changed the date by one week!!

Every year we as a club organize an event for charity. So what things do we like to do?? Well, being a car club, cruising in our cars through the gorgeous Rocky Mountains seems like a perfect fit. Couple the cruising and mountains with Pubs, beer, german food, etc... and we have a complete set of prerequisites to the making of an epic weekend!!
We will meet up Saturday August 15th between 9-10AM with a drivers meeting at 10 at McMahon Stadium, South Parking Lot off of University Drive. We will take Highway 1A to Canmore, switch over to Highway 1 to Highway 93 all the way to Radium. We will have reservations at the German Restaurant there and then we'll go over to a pub or pubs, depending on the amount of people we get. Everyone will have to handle their own accommodations for the night to sleep off the festivities. Next day everyone heads back to their respective homes.
This is a charity event, previous years we've supported the Central Alberta chapter of Ronald McDonald House. We have not made a decision on the charity at this time but we will be open to others.
There are three different tiers for donations:
$10 to do the cruise
$20 cruise and sticker
$30 cruise, sticker and shirt
Since this is a cruise for charity I have no issues at all with non europeans coming along but the cruise would be a just that, a cruise, it's not a race. I did the Leavenworth Cruise in 2013 and they had well over 1000 cars driving out to Leavenworth. Stopped on the side of the road I saw three separate accidents, so don't drive like idiots! I cannot stress this enough, the routes we will be taking are for sightseeing and enjoying the mountains, depending on the amount of cars we get to sign up this could be an epic trip for everyone involved.
