I agree.

Personally I think that people are over thinking this. If someone is genuinely interested in your car they will spend the time to walk over and read a list that is in the window or on the dash.

But all they will see is a set of wheels and a floating spec sheet anyways

Well sorry you guys for suggesting to have a little something that ties our group together and makes it a non amateur looking display

Nobody said the stands or sheets were a bad idea. Just saying that the Cars should be the focus of our group, not spec sheets. Sure there will be people who would like to know more about the cars, and thats what the spec sheet can be for, but like tyler said, i think we may be over thinking it. Like rod said he is working on the template.

I agree that we need things to make out club appear very uniformed. From my experience, some of the past years seemed like the eurodrivers section was just kind of a bunch of random cars in the show, not the one of the largest euro clubs in calgary

I still haven't had any responses form my gazebo/Eurodrivers banner question.

We used to have a banner years ago and it is lost. Getting one printed isn't all that cheap. If Edo would like to sponsor some marketing material that would be awesome

how bout one of Vp's who owns a vinyl company

i will see if i have a banner laying around at work that i can borrow. we could get a very large eurodrivers sticker printed and slap in on the banner.

Cost is key nothing more nothing less, all ideas are worth a thought it is just about affording them.

I have good connections here for things like banners (just did one for 15 quid) but unfortunately not the best for you guys.

how bout one of Vp's who owns a vinyl company

i will see if i have a banner laying around at work that i can borrow. we could get a very large eurodrivers sticker printed and slap in on the banner.

VP with vinyl shop already gives quite a bit to the club. He is giving us the large front window stickers for all the cars...

Dont take it so personally Sean. The idea is a good one, its just that when I see comments like

we should have atleast something more than a simple print out sheet, something thatll grab peoples attention.

It makes me think some people arent really understanding the point of the spec sheet. Its not there to draw the attention of the public or even inform the public about your car. If they really want to know, they will track you down as the owner. Its for the judges to fully understand what has been done to the car so they can fairly assess your car in the competition.

I have a 8' x 8' or 10' x 10' canopy/gazebo type thing that the club can use. I use it for shows all the time and it works great. I'll see if I have any banner material leftover. If I do I will make a eurodrivers banner as well.
