It should be a really good time. Anyone going this weekend? I live in Drumheller but will probably be going to calgary first.

FYI, This is Street Machine Weekend in Lethbridge. Battle of the Bridge is only a subsection of the show weekend, and if you're hoping not to see any mustangs, you might wanna stay out of lethbridge this weekend. The whole city gets taken over mainly by muscle cars.

If you're going down, check out the real action and hit up the 100' drag. Will be much more enjoyable than seeing a bunch of parked cars IMO

For anyone who hasn't come down here for smw, and plan on coming down, you really really have no idea what you are about to see.
Friday night official cruise night. Pre-registration with approval for cruise route. Space limited to 830 cars. Sells out fast. Official controlled cruise from 7-10, people literally cruise and head to Mexico late into the night.

Saturday 100' dash at the exhibition grandstands. Space limited to 150 cars. Everything from 7sec drag cars to Baja bugs and everything in between. Registration is early. Sells out fast. Grandstand holds 5000, stuffed 6500 in last year with the fire department not happy. 2 hour wait to get in.
Also happening.
Rigs, rods, rides. Car show, formerly pentastars in the park.
Battle in the bridge. Low rider show. Lots of cool stuff here.

Sunday. Autocross. 8-2. South lot of exhibition.
Car show. In Galt gardens. Space limited to 600ish cars. Fills fast.

Independent studies (did for grant purposes) estimate 10000 speciality vehicles in the city. Hotels book quick.

If you haven't seen this your really missing out. Calgary, Edmonton etc have nothing on it.

love this weekend. I'm gonna try and rip down for saturday, i would come for the whole weekend but i have a concept friday night, and rodeo finals sunday.

I keep trying to get more euro and jdm guys to show up. Usually a bunch of aircooleds around. Jdms do a meeting on Saturday night also.

I'll only be going Saturday, so if anyone wants to cruise down in the morning meet at Shawnessy A&W at 8, rolling out let's say 8:30? I will go make a thread so more people can join if interested.

Helmet. Snell 2005 or newer. Safe car, proper battery hold down. Show up between 7-8. Racing starts at 8.
It's $10 and at the exhibition grounds on Sunday morning.
