There are meeting points in Edmonton and Calgary before heading out to Sylvan. Posted the Event to the Eurodrivers wall on Facebook.

Note all vehicles of the VW family are welcome, Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini, Bugatti etc etc

If anybody else from the typical group is cruising up WITHOUT the CVD/Airriders group let me know, i'd like to tag along. Or create another cruise up thread.

I prefer not to drive up with them as the aircooled guys are really slow on some sections of the highway and in the past they have not allowed you to pass. I felt it was very dangerous to be in that drive last time I went with them and would much prefer to drive with a different group or alone.

100% what Colin said. I have nothing against the 2 other clubs, but I believe CVD does a properly registered cruise which states that you must stay in formation in the right lane, and again it is highly frowned upon to pass. I'm not really a fan of being frowned upon passing a group of vehicles doing 90 in a 110 zone.

All good, was just curious. I know Edmonton has had its share of various clubs being silly with each other so figured I would just ask.

I know from Edmonton we send off the aircooleds fairly early to help with that, and people always end up passing, driving down to get pictures etc.

Last year I was the president of the Air Riders, I lead the cruise and we drove at 115-120 most of the way. Our biggest thing is we didn't want people being douches, but we didn't stop people from passing either lol.
