    Re: V8less Urban Battles

So I have a new thought for the setup for this show. In general these import shows are all about flashy cars and bright colors and the like. So in contrast I have come up with a concept that shows the classy side of the dubs.

    We use these cars:

    Simon L - Silver Golf
    Ryan - Silver Jetta
    Chris - Black GTI
    Derick - Black Jetta
    Paul - Grey GTI

This would give us a monochromatic look that would stand out compared to the bounty of copper painted hondas.

Just a thought so post up if you have an opinion!

So I think we will go with the dark color theme. So I would like to get the information to the organizers soon, so we are going to go with Ryan, Simon L, Derick, Paul and Chris. This assumes Paul will have his body parts rolling and a set of wheels to borrow, and perhaps Kris will let Chris use those beautiful Axis wheels for the show too

Hahaha, he's coming over right now to put them on. I have a sneaking suspicion that they won't be coming off once they're on his car

Ok so I have the 5 spaces confirmed for the show, we do not need to send pics or anything based upon our award winning show history and some of the WOW pics I forwarded. I will need each of your full names and a contact phone number to send in and I will have to collect $35 from you guys too.

I guess technically we have been in two shows with 7 cars entered and 5 winners so not a bad average, lets hope we can keep it up.

I am not sure if you guys want to do any theme or not for the display this time around, there are prizes for club display!

IMO we should get our own carpet. 3 Strips (black, red, yellow) to make a German flag theme that we park the cars on top of. We should also use bigger signs for each car and make them look like magazine articles. Maybe curved plexi style stands for the car signs?

That would be sweet. Keep the theme for the entire booth, German. Also, you guys had the description cards for the cars last time (which looked really good)... but this time they could be done in a sort of monochrome.
Sidewalks are for normal walkin.... aint no room for fancy walkin....
