On Vortex they are saying that aftermarket HID look-alikes will soon be available, with built in angel eyes, in chrome or smoked. They are already being put into european magazine ads for about $250 Euro.

                Re: V8less Urban Battles

Bumping this up as the organizers have informed me the show is filling up fast and if we want in we have to pick the cars and get going. The show is May 15th and we would need 5 cars to get a club display. So who is seriously interested in this?? I orginally wanted to run my car, but I am not sure if it will be ready by then as I am waiting on a lot of overseas parts

Anyway please post up if you would like to be in! I think Simon (Boy Racer) should be ready for this one

There are only so many dub shows so if you guys are afraid of ricers it is a much shorter show season. The key is to get more exposure for VWs and the club plus we need to show all those kids how we do it Euro style!!

Yea, I don't know you guys, if I had cars like you guys (not mentioning any names Ryan ) I'd be putting them in every show I could, it's fun and who cares if they look at your cars funny, show 'em how it's done! Besides, didn't an old school cabrio win last year!?

this is more like the hot import nights right? like djs and girls all over? and we just park in a group and like block our cars off.. no display or anything?

                            Re: V8less Urban Battles

The 5 cars gets us a club display area, and there are prizes for club displays, so we can go with a theme or just have the cars. However I think we should get the cars together first and then we can decide what to do. Yeah this is a show with DJs, models and stuff representing the Urban lifestyle, whatever that means.

So who wants to be in??
