Edmonton Meets, new time new place?

So I was wondering if the Edmonton guys on this site wanna add their two pennies on getting some meets started up out here? I know winter is coming and the vast majority might go into winter hibernation mode, but that doesn't mean we still can't get together on a weekly or monthly basis in winter. I'm still new to the Alberta car scene so it would be nice to meet some guys that love EDM cars.

I'll be free. Hopefully we can get more people involved and make these regular and get the Edmonton chapter up and running

Quite possibly, might be heading down to Calgary though this weekend for the concept 1 customer appreciation thing on Saturday and might stay over night.

What days are you guys not able to make any? like I'm free evenings and weekends so I'm pretty flexible when it comes to meets.

im more of a weekends guy, weekdays are a no go as family life takes piroty.

Since fall/winter slows the scene down and we all have other engagements maybe do a meet once a month or bi-monthly?

We do monthly meets on the first Thursday of the month down here in Calgary.

Our numbers are usually between 30-50 people showing up. The gauntlet has been thrown

its easier to do monthly for sure. its much easier to know and plan ahead.

My schedule varies from month to month. This week I can possibly do saturday eve and for sure sunday eve.

I cannot make firm commitments regarding monthly meets simply because of my varying call schedule.

Lets set a time for this weekend and stick to it. I'm thinking Saturday early evening, grab ice cream or something. Or Sunday morning coffee.

Any suggestions/your thoughts?

Sunday morning coffee sounds good....I live on the North end, what would be centralish for everyone?
