  • spring dyno day

I know there has been talk of a NVD dyno day again this summer, but I'm not here in the summer so I won't be able to attend. Thus my idea of perhaps holding a smaller one in the spring (April 3rd). This gives everyone the opportunity to get a baseline before doing any crazy mods this summer.

so far I have myself, pat (turbovolks), ryan, and qua (mike) on the list. any one else interested in joining us? Ill call Ken at C1 and ask about what sorta rate we can get.

Saturday, April 3rd if at all possible.

    Re: spring dyno day

Well yes I had planned on trying to setup a dyno day, but I was leaning towards early May as April is no go for me (damn taxes) but if you guys want one I can help set it up. We may need two as the number of cars could be larger!!

I can't commit to a day in April because there is a good chance I will be back in Europe around then.

I might do it depending on the price.

Chris: do you have the dyno plot of your 20th still? Did you do that dyno before you chipped and N75'd? If so, maybe I'll just use your plots as a baseline... our cars should be the same I would think. I'd be interested in seeing a plot of how your car does now that you got Upsoluted and N75'd.

Chris got dyno'd with just the upsolute chip, and no n75, thast why his numbers were low because of surging.

and last time it was $50 compared to the $75 regular rate

              If it's $50 then I'll hit it.

                      Re: spring dyno day

Just talked to Ken at Concept 1 and he's good with the plan. Says it should be around $40 which is great compared to the usual $70-75.

Saturday, April 3rd, start showing up around 11:30 so we can start dyno'ing shortly there after.

                      People in so far:

                      myself
                      turbovolks (Pat)
                      Ryan
                      Turbomedic
                      Middleton
                      (maybe) Kor

And I'm sure everyone else will/can show up to see and have a good time!

Thanks for getting this going Simon! I would still also like to make a another dyno day in May sometime as I will probably not be able to make this one and I would like to dyno the VR some day and we may have enough cars to do it twice

I'm in for a -maybe-. I'll know for sure by next week. I wouldn't mind doing one, so I have a baseline to work off of.

Whenever I see an old lady slip and fall on a wet sidewalk, my first instinct is to laugh. But then I think, what if I was an ant, and she fell on me. Then it wouldn't seem quite so funny.
