Thanks for the kind words everyone! the sun was horribly unforgiving and took a lot of playing around to get certain shots. Especially CSG or black cars, I didnt get any of mine that i am happy with at all, but i have all the time in the world for that!

There was a white 550 replica for sale at the show and the owner said he was looking to get just under $30k for it. They are mostly made by a company called Beck, here's their website: http://www.beckspeedster.com/

basically for tube frame style one (beck) pretty easy to say 20-40,000 depending on the parts you choose to build with.

For the beetle chassis style I would sat 10-30,000

Used I think you would be way better off then building a new one as someone might just want to get rid of one half built or that needs some work.
