It's about getting together with friends and having a good time. Most of us drive volkswagens, not ferraris and gull wing Mercedes. If you didn't have a good day with your family and/or friends then maybe you should just stay home next time.

I took the wife and kid down for a quick walk around. It was awsome to see a f40 and f50, very nice car show with great cars. Shocked to see a couple mkv's with euro seats, I think that was my highlight. Maybe I left before the r32's came I didn't see any.

First time rolling up to Das Volks. Then "holy xxxxxxx xxxxx xxxxx xxxxxx xxxx" my favorite Ferrari in my favorite color! Silver 550 maranello. Mannnn.... Danny's car failed as a can crusher... Good times with ED people.

Mostly awesome cars today, but also some pure sh!t.

I don't know what was going on in the VW section. Some beautiful cars and some cars all rock chipped up with sun-faded headlights. I know that the beat up old bugs are part of the scene, but a stock car with wheels, a decal and the paint covered in swirl marks really doesn't need to take up space there.
My car is in better shape with way more mods than a lot of those and it sat in the parking lot beside a Taurus.


The Ferrari's were nuts along with some gull-wing Benz.

That sounds awful. How much was admission?

There is far too much fighting on this forum now. Seems like everyone is arguing about a car show that already happened? I had a great day sitting in the sun looking at cars, talking about cars, meeting up with friends, etc.

I had a great time at the show. It was nice looking at all the cars, hanging with friends & meeting new people in the Vw scene.

had so much fun, worth the sun burn. Also, i ran into a friend at the end and we stayed and caught up so i was there till after 5, there were 2 lawn chairs left behind my car (mkvi section against the trees)

Both are black, 1 has arms and 1 doesnt. I grabbed them and tossed them in my car so let me know if you forgot one, identify it a bit better and ill get it to you! Had a great time, got tons of photos coming.

PS - jacktowns post was conveying sarcasm if no one caught on.

last time i checked they drive their cars, a lot are daily driven so they are going to get rock chips, they will get sun faded lights .. but who cares. If someone loves their car they have the right to put it in a show. Its not about who has the most money in mods, Not all of us can do that.
