I've only been to one of these as a spectator a while back and I dont remember if the cars presented are within reach or not.

From what I've seen at the Calgary Auto Show, kids will scratch up the paint because of loose keys, pant buttons, bags, etc.

And I don't want that :(

It's up to whoever runs that specific space in the show. Some people rope it off, some don't. Driven is a bit different than the auto show though, not a ton of little kids running around.

We have never roped off in the past, it costs a fair bit of money to rent stanchions. That being said there is not nearly the same level of traffic and people at Driven compared with the Autoshow so it has never been much of a concern. I just like to have someone at the booth at all times to keep an eye on things but it should be fine, we had a Ferrari 360 and the R8 at the booth last year with no incidents. Very few cars are roped off at this show.

But like Blair said, there isnt all that many kids at this show. Last year I was disappointed as I was hoping to straight palm a bratty little kid right to the ground hahahah. jk

LOL, last year there were some kids with their sugar encrusted and/or greasy hands that we had to keep away from the cars, but nothing major.
You take out one kid and let everyone hear it...all the others will stay away

ya, like most have said alot of the attendes are enthusiasts and appreciate all the cars that are there, also very few little kids running wild.
something is very unlikely to happen unless of course some one knocked on someone else :

Ruh roh. I may not have 5 mods ready by May. Instead of a new exhaust system, I'm thinking of traveling lol.

Well I may be a tentative then...

All I have confirmed are:

- Stage 1
- Haldex Competition
- LED tails
- Rims/wheels

Just count each one of your wheels as a mod. I really doubt they will be making sure you have exactly "5 mods" done to your car.
