Thursday is good for me or monday. the weekend i'm gonna be in BC i think.

Well we need to go over some issues. I adjusted the plan based upon the new space requirements and things are very very tight now. The curve will be very minimal now which gives us a few changes. The tire wall is smaller and we maybe able to make due with our 24 winters. The curbing and turf are small (I also priced out turf at around $0.60 to $0.70 a sq ft my estimate is arounf $35 worth). The biggest item then is the curbing and barriers to keep the people away from the cars. We will also need some stands to have the car spec sheets or whatever on there, we could perhaps incorporate this into the barriers.

I can meet tonight but we should have more than a couple of us.

Can the cars be "slightly" outside the area? For example if just one tire was outside on each corner. =)

I would say no as this is the designated walking areas, but the cars will be very close to some parts.

Actually it was reference to some very early WoW planning between Blair, Simon L, Bill, Chris and myself. Somehow I don't think levels are going to make it (or Kiss-boots).

In the past they have never had car/club displays up against the walls, usually retail is up against the walls. We have to prepare for the fact that there is walkways on all sides, but we may have a neighbor or a wall on one or two sides. However for the sake of the plan we should be prepared for people on all sides, that way we will have no negative issues come show time.

For the barrier the best I can come up with is Ikea stainless looking speaker stands and then we can string a rope between them. The stands are $20 for 2, which is not cheap but not bad. For comparison sake I looked up the price of the poles and adjustable belt straps that banks, movie theatres use and they go for $185US a piece. However who is to say that we cannot return the speaker stands after the show or keep them for other years or have everyone get a set of speaker stands.
