Dates announced last night May 31 to June 2 2013, any one planing on making the drive down this year? im down if we get a nice group together... no venue as of yet though ill be staying on the strip either way.

Colin, are you actually going to show up to the show this year? And if i attend, i will be flying as well. I don't think i'll be able to handle that drive for a 4th time.

the drive is really not that bad as long as we have a decent group going and we dont stop to pee every 200 km... BolideVW bring Vic with you guys so the Jetta can make its 3rd appearance at the show ... how is it holding up?

Seems good, he never seems to be over at derek's when Im over. I think after replacing the axle and small stuff (maintenance stuff mostly) it been pretty good.

myself and Jay are gonna be going this year, will be flying down tho. most likely staying at the stratosphere as it seems to be the best priced. And theres a fat teusdays in the hotel, and an oxygen bar for those rough mornings.lol.

the jetta has been great for him, as far as i know he has some plans for it come spring time.

the oxygen bar is amazing - it's a morning routine while in Vegas lol. I'll probably fly down rather than drive.
Fat Tuesdays laid me on my ass last time I was there, the shoulder-strap cup is a HORRIBLE yet great idea.

This. Thinking of getting a CB Radio this year to try and listen in on the cops.

most cops now in the states are on digital, so you'll need a digital scanner. one benefit of CB is you can talk to the truckers and they usually will tell each other whats up ahead.
honestly a properly mounted GOOD radar detector like a V1 should give you ample warning on those roads. they're long and straight so those waves travel far and are easily picked up.
