Since we are rollin down with the Lethbridge crew, I believe the plan is to leave thursday night, find a hotel on the other side of the border, then cruise Friday to Seattle or near the place we need to be saturday morning, and the rest is history. I will get in touch with the Lethbridge boys and try to finalize some of the details.
For those leaving early Friday morning, i'm sure we can find a place somewhere in the states to meet up on Friday to continue our journey. I'll talk to a few folks and try to get a map and game plan going!

Alright while I arrange the cruise plan and gather all the info about the route/hotels, we should confirm attendance and see who is available to meet at what time. So far, it is confirmed that we are leaving on Thursday night. If you plan on leaving Friday, I think you are going to have a very long drive on Friday! Either way, here is the latest list. Please say what time you are available to meet somewhere down south in Calgary.
1. Rod & Daughter (Camille)
2. Patryk & Tracy - Available to leave Calgary between 5-530PM
3. Scott - GTI
4. TJ - (riding with Scott)
5. Martin
6. Evan E30
7. Jamie & Janice
I have not included the Lethbridge guys in this list as they will be making their own arrangements and we will be meeting up with them down south!

If your crossing at sweetgrass, then your taking the long way there. Literally adding hours to the trip. Depending where you Thursday people stay over the border, people leaving Friday will have similiar driving time on Friday going the fast way as Thursday people will have on Friday. Hopefully that is interpretable.

Been talking with the Lethbridge guys, and we will be crossing at the Eastport Idaho border, not sweetgrass. I've created a new thread which will have all the updated info as we sort all of this out!

That makes more sence.
I travel that way a lot so As far as a hotel Thursday night, I would stay in cranbrook, sandpoint, or coeur d Alene. I wouldnt stay in Bonners ferry. If you can make it to coeur d alene, Seattle is a short 4 hours from there. Lots of wildlife though.

I like this route a lot more! Of your options, I vote for Creston. Assuming we leave at 6, that would get us there around 11. I don't know about anyone else, but I don't really like highway driving at night, so I'd like to keep it to a minimum. Plus I'm still working Thrusday morning so I'll be up at 6.

I'd much rather drive at night and my vote is coeur d alene
You can drive that part then lol
Just a thought, we could meet the Lethbridge guys in Crowsnest instead of Fort McLeod. That way we could go down Highway 22 and cut down our drive time a bit.
Edit: Nevermind, it's only like a 15 minute difference.
I would meet in crowsnest. If you make one stop for fuel and drive 10 over, you can make cda in 6 1/2 hours from south Calgary. Probably won't be a quick stop with a bunch of cars though. Staying in creston would be backtracking. Stay in cranbrook or push for cda(gw hunters in post falls and jimmy's down the street in cda are awesome breakfast places!). Have fun everyone! It's a nice drive
I don't mind the night driving as it usually means much less traffic, however saying we leave Calgary at 6:00pm sharp, we would be reaching coeur d alene anywhere between 1 and 2 am. Thinkin that's a bit late considering most of us are working on Thursday. My vote is either Cranbrook or Creston, and just get up a bit earlier to avoid the traffic.
