Look Ma, I'm going to World of Wheels!!!!

Well, It's official as of tonight. I just got a call from the show organizers at 9:30 and NVD is accepted into WoW!!!

So here's what they said....
1) All six cars are in.
2) We only get a 30' x 40' display near the back of the building.
3) Move in for the club will be on Thursday at 6pm. But, we can bring the cars earlier and keep them in an indoor auction area for prep work and while the display is being set up.
4) There is a wash bay available, but there will be alot of entrants trying to use it.

They said the are going to fax me more details tomorrow as well as a copy of our offical letter of acceptance so I'll post whatever they send tomorrow. Apparently, they were really impressed with the caliber of our mk4's

hey guys lets setup a time to all meet then i still have all of thursday and friday off work so if you guys want lets all go in at like 4pm (2 hours to detail?) if possible kinda thing.. also who is up for giving me a ride home? lol
also who is bringing a jack,etc to swap wheels.. we can use the factory ones but ya know if the weather is warm i might just put my 18s on tho and drive down like that

I wanna go as early as possible on the thursday, Andrew will be with me so we can start washing/waxing the car and have it done by the time its time to move in and make the display.

I'll have my jack and jack stands, so just put your 18's on at the show Ryan, they'll stay cleaner that way, and we need your 15's for the tire wall.

Well this is great news guys, I am glad all the hard work is not going unnoticed, and look out kids NewVeeDub is here to stay!!!!!!!!

The 30x40 space could be a challenge for the 6 cars and our theme idea, we may need to revise the plans a bit, however we will make it work! So I think the 6 of us should maybe setup another meeting to get the final details and such organized. Once again thanks to Simon, Derick, Bart, Bill, and Ryan for helping to get this all together, should be an impressive show!!

Sounds good. I waxed up my wheels on the weekend... so they are nice and shiny. I gotta do a serious amount of work on my paint though as winter has not been kind.

Let me know what's going on with this mod-fest this weekend and I'll probably drop by for a bit, even though I really don't have anything to do to my car. I Mapquest map might help me get there!
