Need me to bring anything, I'm quite sure I can make it, but I only plan on one trip, so any tools I can fit in my car I can bring, and well, we have almost everything. The only problem is finding it, so knowing in advance would be great. For now on the list is the heat gun.

something about his rear valence not fitting properly and having to stay home all weekend to cry and masturbate profusely. i think, i wasn't paying much attention.

                Re: Giant Mod Weekend!!!

OK, I just need to post a warning to those coming over this weekend. The frucken storm drain at the corner of my house froze over with ice...now part of the street has about 8 inches of ice and water . Since the weather is pretty warm, this has resulted in what looks like shallow slush, but is actually deeply cratered ice with water hiding the hazard underneath. It is not a big deal and won't be a factor in the modding. The only thing is to remember to drive AROUND the slushy looking area and NOT through it. The last thing I want to see is all these beautiful dubs ripping off body kits, oil pans, and valences and such.

Here's a diagram of what I'm talking about....

The blue shiz is the stuff you want to avoid. My mk2 has been stuck there all week with it's wheel's literally embedded in the ice/slush. You'll bottom out for sure if you try to go through it. So basically, when you see the mk2 Jetta, make a big-assed turn around it, or even come around the island in the cul-de-sac......OK, disclaimer finished

i know how to do the rear springs, but you need a spring compressor for the fronts. and the shocks.. well ive never done.
