Volkswagen FreeDriving Tour

Well it's that time of year again when Volkswagen comes to Calgary for their Freedriving tour. Patryk and myself have done this now 2 years in a row and it is a blast.

Some Information from VW.ca:

Drive your favourite Volkswagen around a specially designed course with a professional precision driver at your side. Enjoy one of the most adrenalin-filled driving experiences of your life as you push your skills, your heart rate and your favourite Volkswagen further than you ever thought possible.

This takes place in Calgary on August 24-26 at Cross Iron Mills

You must be over 21 years of age and have a valid and unrestricted driver’s license for driving an automobile issued by a province of Canada, which you will be required to present at the test drive.

You must currently have motor vehicle insurance, including liability insurance, which is in full force and effect and valid in Canada. You will be required to present a certificate evidencing this coverage at the test drive.

Spaces are limited. We have registered for Saturday morning at 9am so we hope to see some of your guys out there.

For those of you who've been to these how long does it take - getting registered, instruction etc..

I'd say anywhere from an hour to however long you feel like stickin around

i was also in the 9am drive for saturday but cancelled it to go skateboarding instead. i might try to reschedule. show up then and they might just give you my spot!

HAHAHA how could I forget. Only a handful of people would actually understand/remember that, but your thread getting locked was the reason I left that garbage forum. In all honesty though, I understand you going skateboarding instead, but its just the context you put it in.....just pure epic. Cheers to you my friend!

Running a little tighter show this year. I got 4 rides in though. GLI, GTI, Beetle and Passat.

Was pretty fun.
