  • Wtd: na mkiv's for a dyno shootout

Anyone with a modded vr6 and a modded 2.0 2.slow want to see what your car does on a dyno?

We are looking for a stockish 24v vr6
    A modded 12v vr6
    A modded 2.0 2.slow to dyno
[edit: would prefer to see Mkiv`s if we have a choice]

By modded, it would be good to see a supercharged or intake, exhaust and chip cars and or cams.

I am trying to line up a dyno shootout day, I am seeing if a magazine is interested in reviewing our results. I am thinking for a dyno day subsidy, $75 to get a baseline of your car. The nice thing about this, if you want to make some big changes, we will dyno you first, car can come off, you work on it while other cars are being done, put your car back on. There is a "setup" fee, but it's pretty marginal.

Where/when is the question I am trying to see when concept1 and Calgary auto works have time available. I was thinking of a Saturday in the next month.

We will obviously have our city golf, maybe a customers 2.slow, and our newly acquired vr6. All will be dynoed boosted and stock.

Any 24v vr6's around and want to dyno their car?

I just got the supercharger in the vr6, but something is making funny noises in the engine, who is a good vr6 specialist in town? Calgary auto works or tunedub? Or? I need to make sure the car is ok before I flog it.

We had a dyno day a week or so back and got the 2.0's out of the way. I needed to do some work on the vr6 so I will be doing that in a week or two. It might be around $100 or so. And hopefully you have a source for a boost line. Then it's easy.
