    Far From Home Cruise 2012

    With FFH being this Sunday up in Sylvan Lake, I figured its time to set up the cruise. Watercooled CVD members are leaving deerfoot mall at 8:45am. I figured if we leave Calgary at 9:30, that'll give the CVD group some time to set everything up and organize. This year the show is in the Centennial parking lot (which I have no clue where that is, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there).

    So here are the cruise details...

    Meet at Tim Hortons on McKnight and Deerfoot at 9:00am Sunday May 27th
    Grab Coffee/Breakfast
    Leave Timmy's at 9:30am heading to the show

    Ideally I know everyone would like to arrive with a clean car. I know of a car wash on the outskirts of red deer that we ofter stop at to wash the cars. If anyone knows of a good car wash in Sylvan lake, that would be even better.

        I'm in for sure! Also have 5 or 6 Airdrie buddies that are coming for sure as well.

          My gf and I should hopefully be going! I'm pretty sure that I know where the Centennial lot is and I know of a car wash up there too.

            aw man I wanted to but I work all weekend....I grew up in Sylvan! Have a good time everyone!

                I'll be there! There is a car wash in Sylvan but i'm not a huge fan of it. There's a few in Red Deer that are pretty decent.

                And centennial park is just off lakeshore where all the businesses aren't. Pretty hard to miss.

                    I will be in Sylvan but will be working, unfortunately.
                    If anyone has a really low car I would not recommend driving along Lakeshore Drive. Massive speed bumps every ten meters.
                    If you see four guys roll up in a truck with wetsuits on, I am one of them.

                      Just and FYI the show is being set up before the cruise departs so everything is ready when the cruises arrive, also the more local people sometimes get there earlier and there are always cars parked in the parking lot from the night before. So we stay the night in Red Deer and get there first thing to kick everyone out.

                              Just so there is no misunderstanding, we will NOT be cruising with CVD. We will be a completely separate crew driving down. Hence why I want to leave 45 mins after the CVD cruise does.
