Gonna bump this now to give people some time to decide and discuss, but with -25 temperatures, nobody is going to drink coffee outside and the seating area inside second cup sucks.

Would anyone object to moving locations to perhaps the Tim Hortons in signal hill mall? Just a couple blocks down from the usual meeting spot, but with alot more seating and lots of great parking still. Also this doesnt mean you can still stop at starbucks, second cup, or whatever other coffee joint you want and bring your coffee out.

Lets hear your thoughts on this.

Bump- Sunday coming soon. I aint standing outside in the cold and second cup does not have space for all of us to sit inside so I vote to move to the Tim Hortons too.

Although the Tim Hortons has more seating I would think that it would be much busier and louder than the Second Cup.

It will be louder then second cup for sure but if we get more then 8 people second cup just doesnt have the space to sit everyone. Maybe just do winter coffee meets at Starbucks at Deerfoot meadows as the space works great there? I dunno but I doubt everyone who comes out often, wants to stand out side for 1-2 hours when its -20.


Just another idea, there is the Seanachie Pub by Tim Hortons, they are open on sunday mornings for breakfast at 9am. Maybe move it there? It will be quiet and tons of space for bigger group and still have lots of room for parking.

The space at Starbucks in Deerfoot Meadows is good?! Last time Alexa and I came we had to sit so far from the group, then Nick and his wife came and would have had to be even further if we didn't go outside. That place is tiny if more than 8 people decide to go.

agree'd its only really suited for 8ish people tops. this pub place might be work. anyone have any other suggestions?
