JAW-organized OIL AND LUBRICANT SEMINAR - Oct 15

Hey guys,

JAW is organizing an oil and lubricant seminar, "Oil 101", which is being hosted and put on for us by Power Up Lubricants, on Saturday, October 15, at 10:00am.

This seminar will cover the methods by which oil is made, what oil is made of, what makes an automotive oil work well, and how you can take proper care of your engine, transmission, and differentials by selecting appropriate oils.

If you've ever wondered exactly how oil is made, what it's made of, what the differences between various oils are, and what separates a good oil from a bad oil, come on down and join us. Attendance is free, and the seminar will run for roughly 1-1.5 hours. Lunch will be provided.

Are they going to pull out the old lub stress testing kit? Man I remember my dad selling Power up when I was a kid.

This seminar will have an educational focus, not a sales focus, but I imagine that they will probably pull out the timken machine to demonstrate the lubrication characteristics of different oils
