Figured I would make this a thread and start the discussion now. I know its still 6 months away, but time will start to fly in the new year.
As many of you know, Wuste is moving where the event is held.
It won't be at the Palace Station Hotel again, they are moving it to their sister hotel the Boulder Station thats quite a ways off the strip and all the way out near the Hospital and Uni.
They also wont be doing the show AT the hotel anymore, they are doing it in a huge lot and will be providing shuttle service it sounds like, from the hotel to where the cars will be parked.
I've decided I'd rather stay on the strip, valet my car there and drive it out to the show on show day, rather than stay at a hotel that has horrible reviews and is in the middle of nowhere just to save a few bucks.
My brother has put me in touch with a guy who handles high rollers at Planet Hollywood. I've floated the idea by him about getting a group rate if I can get a group together for rooms at PH. It would be base rooms and stuff, but they are worlds above any of the Boulder hotels, and right in the middle of the strip.
I know its early days, but I'd like to get the ball rolling on this if possible, just because I know its going to take a bit of time to figure out.
Who else would be interested in doing what I'm doing. Obviously its going to depend on price, but if I can gauge interest and let him know, he can then start figuring out prices and stuff.
