Fall Cruise - Sept 19 2010
After a successful cruise this past weekend, I think we should organize one more before the snow comes. This will be the same route we took last week, nice roads with very little traffic.
Date: Sept 19 2010
Time: meet at 12:00pm depart at 12:30pm
Meeting place: Petro Canada at the bottom of COP (there is a shell across the street)
Route: We will head west on HWY 1 and then head south on HWY 40 (exit 118). If we need to we can regroup at the Stoney Nakoda Casino which is on the left hand side as soon as you exit onto HWY 40. Hwy 40 leads to Longview where we can stop for some food/beef jerky and then head back to Calgary through either Turner Valley (Hwy 22) or Okotoks (Hwy 7). Total distance 288kms.
