It's $599 for a 3 hour course....

Want to forget about speed limits for a while? Then go take a big bite of road racing! In the Introduction to Racing, strap yourself into our race car and head out onto the track. Lap the race track close to ‘‘the limit’’ as you immerse yourself in the world of race car driving. Here’s what you get:

60 minutes of lap time
an understanding of vehicle dynamics
race-style downshifting
"competition" braking & cornering techniques
Introduction to Racing graduates are immediately eligible to enroll in the Advanced Car Control program, a Skip Barber Racing School advanced activity.
Total Program Time: 3 hours
Prerequisite: None

Liability: Participants will be required to sign a Release and Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement prior to participation. You may read liability documentation by clicking here.


Its a big chunk of change for 3 hours...would be sick to do though. But even to just go check out and watch would be pretty awesome. There's no way after 4 years off of a bike i'm strapping in and lapping laguna seca. forget that.

i really wanna do the laguunanana seca . i drove it once before in 2003 at a SVTOA conference in monterererey. we were in svt contours, they're okay.

my only concern would be if something broke. i mean, i do drive an s4 lol. maybe stopping and watching will be enough. grrr chances are that i'll do it lol

DJ you will also be happy to know i called oregon state parks people and asked about legality of camping on beaches. its fine, as long as you aren't in a state park on within a city limits.

Would mean packing tent, bags, pillows, headlamps, and an avalanche shovel (to level off ground)
