Hey guys,

Winter is almost over now and weather is getting warmer every day. Just want to set a date to start the meet again, any ideas?

Isn't it great!? I actually had the Alpina out last weekend enjoying the great weather. Earliest I have ever had her out. Lots of gravel on the roads though....

Are we planning on having it every 2nd Wednesday as before?
Evenings are still pretty short on daylight, if that's even a concern. Maybe starting April?
Where's Ian in all of this? Have you been talking to him?

Ya we will do every 2nd Wednesday just like before since we have been doing this for the last couple years. I was thinking april as well but I would like inputs from everyone so we all agree on the starting day.

I have been talking to him on and off. Saw him at the car show and that was the last time I saw him.

My car is pretty beat up this winter though, need to get a few things done... Sucks lol

I'd be down for meets again....but I think we might be talking about this a little prematurely.

The weather is awesome right now, but that can change very drastically and very quickly. Its not uncommon to have cold temps and occasioanlly snow still hanging around during may long.

Hopefully this thread doesn't jinx our good weather.....if so......I'm blaming you Howard!

LOL so far so good Pablo. So do you guys want to make it middle of May instead of beginning of April? That will leave all of us some time to prep our cars and we should be safe in May.

We could do beginning of April if the weather cooperates. I dunno if I wanna show up to a meet with my winter steelies

Worst case senario, Beginning of May should be OK.

I am on winter wheels too Pablo. Just had the entire car redone and spent four weeks in the auto body. They did an amazing job. Car looks new again. I need a winter beater but the quattro and torque in the winter is too much fun to park and look at. So I just stay way ahead of everyone to avoid rock chips ha ha...

I am on winter wheels as well Pablo. Plus I have a cracked windshield that needs to be replaced. I also have some parts that needs to be installed too. Right now the car looks no different than what you saw last time except winter wheels are on...

I was just thinking if we make it early May perhaps we can get our cars ready for summer mode as well. I dont mind early April or early May, that's why I wanted to start a thread to ask your opinions.
