No problem, I love your car man, it's so clean!

The cruise back with you wasn't bad except I keep on getting cut off!

The cruise down from Edmonton was fun. I think we probably had about 20 cars in the pack? There probably would have been more but I think the weather may have dissuaded a few of them.
All in all, it was a good time. Got to meet some people and put faces to the names. Although, I couldn't believe how cold it was.

BTW, Howard, Ian, we may have left a little too early. As it turns out, I won 2nd place for "BMW - Other" and wasn't there to claim it.
Call Chris and see how to claim it. I was surprise not to hear your name before we left too!

When they called out the winners for the BMW 84-92 category, I thought it was over as that's the category I thought my car had been entered in. I didn't even realize there was a category for "BMW Other".

BTW, Howard and AllGo'n'Show, would you 2 mind terribly if I borrowed a few of your pictures to post on Bimmerforums?

                  Thanks,

Peter, the 2002 was first place in that category and he has your trophy as well.

                    On with the pics!!!

Again great show Chris. Awesome turnout of cars, lots of eye candy to look at. Only one suggestion and one comment I heard that I will PM you about. As for the suggestion it might be a good idea to have a 50/50 type draw next year but with 33% each going to MADD/The bobsled team/Ticketed winner. I am sure lots of people would pitch in so then all parties would win.

So glad I was able to make it this year! All the planets must have been aligned or something. Wish I could have made the cruise on Saturday but really had to spend time with the family since I was only home for 3 days.
Thanks for an awesome show and event weekend Chris. I'm sure you know you're doing a great thing for the scene in central Alberta. Your tail light cover is sitting on my lathe at home. Not sure how I managed to forget it on Sunday. I'll bring it down to the shop when I get back.
I'm an old school water cooled guy but all those newer VAG's at the show made me want an Audi! I was stoked that the Gulf took 1st even if there were only 3 MK1's at the show. Very cool.
                                Thanks again,
                                RJ
