In case anyone is interested, FFH is this Sunday down in Sylvan Lake. A bunch of guys from DasDubbers will be meeting up around 8:30-8:45 at the Petro Canada by Country Hills Toyota, then cruising up to Sylvan together.

If you have nothing to do this Sunday, come out and show off your car. It should be a good time!!!

the attitude my s4 and my friend's m3 received at the last clubveedub event + ignored on my email questioning clubveedub's president about having an s4 and m3 in their FFH .. I've made the simple assumption that they want nothing to do with anything other then vw's .

i'd much rather mow my lawn then experience another event of cold shoulders, attitude and inappropriate comments.

FFH is a dub show yes.. not sure how audis would be treated :/

CVD is fairly open to Audi's (had a category last year at Das Volks) but this show is primarily VWs so that is what people going expect to see.

I have not been in a few years but have a had a good time many times before so even if you want to just take a look, not a bad way to spend a Sunday.

Yeah unfortunately I cant speak for all the other when I say I would love to see some other nice euro's at the show. Sorry about the feeling of gettin the cold shoulder, but I see where your coming from. If that happened to me I would probably tell them all to f*** off and stick to the Eurodrivers events too. Either way i'm sure i'll be seeing your cars at Euroquake this year. So stoked for that!!!

Hey popp, all the das Auto guys will be parking in the parking lot just on the other side of the tracks. There is a new parking lot there.

I don't think there's anything wrong with a "All VW's" event. I'm sure if you guys had an "all S4's" event or "All Audi" event and I showed up in my mk2 you'd probably scratch your heads.

The cruise is usually pretty fun, the there's usually a fair bit to see and it's supposed to be nice on sunday. Sounds like a win on all accounts.

I am unable to go unfortunately otherwise I'd cruise up.

Some CVD members have Audi's and so they are definitely welcome. There were a couple of BMW's at closetohome, I don't think it's out of the ordinary to see a few other German car's at VW car shows in North American especially if there part of the VAG. Also CVD has there own cruise to Sylvan that anyone can join in on. It will start at Deerfoot mall at 8:00 and anyone on the CVD cruise will be preregistered before leaving so you won't have to register in Sylvan.

I'll be going for the pre-vegas meet, don't plan on leaving Calgary till 10am.
