Unfortunately there was a lot that needed to be done to the car in order to stand out in the crowd down there and there just wasnt enough time to make it all happen!

I don't really get this... do you go to events for the experience or for the pats on the back? If you don't feel like driving your car because it's not worth the effort for you, just hitch a ride with someone... but you definitely shouldn't miss this event!
