Another Organized "Shred"

So with the nice weather finally here, I can't help but organize another "shred" down another windy road. But this time, a little more tighter and a little more twisty'er. I'm thinking of the ol'1A from Cochrane to Canmore this Saturday morning at 10:30am on the 9th of May.

I figure we could stop at Ghost Lake for some photos, and then proceed on to Canmore for an afternoon beer and snack at a pub of some sort. The road is not the smoothest, but at least there are no giant potholes. Its just uneven in some spots. This will not be a crazy tear up, but rather just a spirited drive and having a little fun here and there. Same as last time for those who went on the Kananaskis "shred".

For those who wish to join in on the fun, we will be meeting in front of Royal Oak Audi on the 9th @10:30am. Post if you're interested. It will help with the organizing.

Count me in for sure!. I have a "thing" to attend saturday evening, but as long as we are back in town by say........3:00pm at the latest, Im good. Hey my car wont be vibrating like a mother f'er this time either. Thanks Tire Bob, you saved the day again!.......and I will pay you at some point!.

So at this point, we will have 5 cars for the shred.
Myself..black 98 GTI VR6, silver 2001 A6 (acesix), gun metal B6 Audi (peaches), black 2007 Rabbit (parts eric), and 2001 Jetta VR6 (852VR6). Plus one more give or take. Not bad! Hopefully the weather is good to us.

Does anyone know if the 1/4 mile (Race City) is open this Friday night?

Does anyone know if the 1/4 mile (Race City) is open this Friday night?

It will probably get rained out, and last I heard they weren't finished setting up the timing equipment. Sources say next weekend all will be up and running properly.(weather permitting of course)

They may still have 'secret street' races as the timing isn't as important to that event.
