just a quick question, pretty sure your / your friends's car isn't stock so I was just wondering if you guys would leave me in the dust cause I drive a MK4 VR6

You'll be fine. The only thing done to my 98 GTI VR6 is exhaust and chip ( to the engine). The MK5 Rabbit is pretty stock...mostly suspension. We won't be going balls to the wall, but rather have certain urges from time to time

Sweet! Glad you can come along. I am meeting some of the guys from Royal Oak Audi at 10:30 am at the dealership, and then we will be meeting everyone at the Petro-Can truck stop at 11:00am. If you'd like, you can meet me at the dealership first. They will be closed so We'll be parked somewhere near the front. My name is Mike by the way.

If you have to "Google Map" the location, make sure you enter "Royal Oak Audi" and not Glenmore Audi.

Myself and a couple of guys I work with at Royal Oak Audi are planning a little drive through the mountains Friday morning at 11:00 a.m on the 10th of April. If anybody is interested you're more than welcome to join in. But be warned, we don't exactly take it easy on the gas pedal though. It won't be full throttle the whole way, but there will be those times when we'd like to play!
I think the best place to meet up would be at the gas station/rest stop just after the Cochrane off ramp off of hwy.1 . There is like a carpool parking lot there or something plus a restaurant. I believe it may be a Petro station, but am not to sure as I am new to Calgary. I'll be driving a black MKIII GTI VR6. The guys I work with drive a black MKV lowered Rabbit, 2 B5 A4's, and a slammed white MKII GTI.

If it sounds appealing to anyone, pls let me know who you are and what you drive so it will be easier to meet up with everyone. Hope to see you there!!

Also, is it ok if I bring along friend along (he doesnt drive euro, its a AE86 Trueno matter of fact) cause you might not want to ruin the euro trend
