I will most likely only come for the Show and Shine because my cousin is getting married on the 21st here in Calgary. But I will be coming up a few E90post, Project Technik, and Mpost members.

has anyone bothered to check when great canadian is happening? they usually try and snag that weekend as well.

i would work to try and avoid any clashes with other major shows as much as possible.

In 2008 it was the weekend before, cannot find a 2009 date yet.

which is why someone should likely see with event organizers when that show will be running.
there is nothing worse than people holding events without checking with the other large ones.

i'll talk to a few people i know that are involved and see and get back to you blair.

i did.
they will begin planning in the new year. All of these big shows basically have their weekends, and are likely to stick to them. I would think GC is one of the bigger PNW shows, along with Waterwagens (or whatever variation they are calling it). From those two shows all the other large, but still smaller shows base themselves, ie. leavenworth, euroquake, das volks, DCI BBQ, etc.

we had issues 2 years ago when they called leavenworth and waterwagens on the same weekend. turned everything into a nightmare as you had to premiere shows both falling at the same time. both shows end up losing out on both sponsorship, entry fees, and exposure.

Dont forget about DTP in Calgary.

This year its happening at the Roundup center! One day event!

Yes June 20th for DTP, we will have a group in for sure, nice to be out of the oval too, well maybe I am biased since I can walk to the Roundup Centre.

And we are hoping to establish our weekend for Euroquake!!!!

yes hahah i have a feeling they are going to make it good this year. big plus is that its in the SUMMER so hopefully a big party!

Great canadian will be on the 15th aug . (following there history ) and levenworth is in june . no other shows in conflict.
