squidjit already replied to your "no other shows in conflict" but maybe you should check out the other clubs that have been going on for a lot longer then Eurodrivers. The Air Riders is going on it's 12th year and has had the same weekend for those past 12 years. I don't know why you hate the Air Riders so much, I do have a guess but I think you should really talk to so of the executive members in the Air Riders to work something out. As I see it you are taking away from the scene instead of trying to provide the best for every one involved. If you want to talk to some one let me know.
To be honest, many of the people who would be attending Euroquake wouldn't be interested in attending EOS anyway. I know this because I spoke to many people about it last year. Some people simply lost interest in EOS and others have had personal problems with the airriders.
Yeah it sucks that 2 shows are scheduled for the same date, but I really don't think Chris should change the date to accommodate a hand full of people.

just my 02 cents
oh wow congratulations... so... you talked to the non VW people at euoquake... and umm you talked to the people from a certain edmonton VW company who have been brainwashed to hate the airriders by a certain person, because of his personal issues with the club....
maybe you should just stop and think about it...
it would be better for the date of euroquake to change for both shows... that way everyone that wants to go to either show can in fact attend them.... thus more people at both of the shows...

There were actually many people that wanted to do both shows last year, myself included but because of having them on the same day it wasn't possible. Chris wouldn't be accommodating a hand full of people, I don't know what it is about the eurodrivers but from what I have seen on the forums and the one event that I was at it doesn't seem all that interesting. I get this feeling that the eurodrivers think they are a bit more superior then the other two very well established Volkswagen clubs in Alberta.
whoa whoa whoa . i am part of many many euro and sport compact clubs in north america . yes we are predominately vw here . the old name is newveedub.com but we are diversifying . look at the pics guys what more do we have have to do to help the community grow , but throw big euro based shows , i cant help all the show dates guys but i am a main organizer and this is the weekend that doesn't conflict with my schedule . and if i put in as many hours and as much cash (eurodrivers help alot thank you) as i did last year i can move this date to the weekend that works best for my buisness and show schedules of many larger venues than eos . You seem to be the group that is high on themselves . so have your show on that date if you wish you will be missing out on a frikin awesome two day event this year . and in the end the euro scene in Alberta will not be harmed either way but you could just move your smaller show to a different date . just as i moved my show for a larger event this year as well. It sucks you feel we are out to get you we are not . but we also are firm on the event date .
