Last years show was good, but the cruise sucked!

Who's idea was it to drive on dirt roads with really bad pot holes and dips everywhere? All the shiney cars werent so shiney after the cruise, not to mention I dragged my skidplate on the ground for most of the cruise.

If you were in the first group, following the black Bentley, we never drove on dirt roads - because I was the one driving and I knew the route ( I drew the route up). Other groups got lost and ended up on dirt roads if the leader of the group got lost. This year I am and going to have three people run the route with me so that hopefully no one gets lost. Last year, we even has some people follow the White Gallardo home, thinking that he was taking part in the run. I will have copies of the route to pass out - like last year, make sure to get one from me.

Why not post it up on the forums so everyone can see it before hand and therefore have it in their mind that there is a route map?

The route map has always been passed out once it is obvious who is going on the run - last year due to an overwhelming response (32 cars booked - 50+ cars attended) I ran out of maps . The route is run soley on country (paved) roads some are even unmarked, so it is best to have three - four assigned leaders. The whole run is intended to be rather low key on twisty, less frequented roads

Last year my group was lost too. I was with VR666 and Gtaylor I believe, but we managed to find it alright without going through dirt roads. (Had to make a couple U turns though~~) I thought the whole event was great, but we should find another place to park at the end because that parking lot was just too small for everyone, so most of us had to park on the street.
