I like it. On the way back to Edmonton, I got better gas mileage. Also seem to have better mileage in the city too. I have been driving it nicely though. I have opened it up a few times and I can feel a difference. Right off the line, and also in the higher end ( at highway speeds ) accelerates hard. Well worth it! Thanks.

Good to finally meet everyone! Certainly a respectable turnout, too.

Hopefully I'll have the car looking pristine by then. And if not, I'll have to make sure she's washed.

Thanks for the introduction to Groat road, Jesse, I'll forward the tickets to you I'm sure to get if I allow myself to cruise it when I should know better. And next time we should line up three abreast and drop the hammer from a light just for shits and giggles.

I have my own tickets and crazy insurance bill each month to deal with. Ha Ha. It was a great turn out. Even with the rain earlier in the day. I will make sure I am at the next meet!

As for the off white ( not sure of exact color name ) B5 S4, it belongs to Ian, this was his first meet. Nice car! He also owns a nice two door Quattro that I believe is the exact same color...

Haha, I was thinking the same myself. Simon (the C300 MB) and I were feeling a bit self-conscious because of our cars not "fitting in" but they guys are awesome and I had a great time... looking so forward to the next meet. Hopefully I'll have the CQ by then and can roll up ol'-school steez.

Everyone in E-town should mark their calendar and we'll have a grand ol' time. Let's meet at the Leg' as usual and then go to Whyte Ave for a pint or something. Or a real good cruise... I noticed at the park a ton of people were stoked on our rides, so let's go to where the people are, and where there's a great drive along the way.

I'll be hitting Google-maps heavy to find such a route. More to follow.

So... if nobody has any objections we should consider that cruise route a go for next meet?

I just threw out E&C because I had excellent food and service when I was there a couple weeks ago... but you locals will likely have a different favourite in mind. So maybe we'll agree on a place at the Legislature, on the 30th? Or perhaps we could hash it out first and then any latecomers can meet us there and save us space...
