AirRiders End of Summer Show

Friday Aug 22nd the fun starts with go karting at whitemud amusement park. We will be meeting at the go karts at 7:00pm. Once we have all had our turn on the karts we will have a mini cruise out to Fred's house where we will have a bonfire and weenie roast. Please bring your own booze and hot dogs. Whitemud amusement park is located at 7411 - 51ave just of the whitemud freeway. If you get lost or are late and need directions phone me at (780) 945.1842

On Saturday there is a free customer appreciation BBQ at westside auto. The BBQ is from 6-8pm. We ask that you please bring a small salad or dessert.After the BBQ we have a very large cruise that leaves westside at around 8pm and ends up at bonnie doon mall a couple hours later. From there we will be heading out to a local night club that Bluejay DJ's at. The club is on the corner of Jasper ave and 101st. Parking can be tough. Westside is located at 10010 168st. We should be at the club between 10:00 and 10:30pm.

Sunday is our big day. Registration is from 9-11am. The show starts at 11am and wraps up at 4pm. For those of that are willing to help setup please come at 8am. Steve and i may be there even earlier.The show is at Potter's surf shop 10336-111st. Regisration is $5.00 for members (airriders, club veedub and others), $15.00 for non members, $10.00 for swap space and free for spectators. Lots of great activities for the whole family.

Let's go out and represent NewVeeDub.com! I urge all members to come out and attend. You don't have to come for all three days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) if you don't want to. I'll attend Saturday's events and Sunday's events if I have someone to go with. Whoever is interested... post up or PM me.

Right after work at 4pm, Joby (23 second Baja beetle) and I will be heading up to Edmonton for The End of Summer show if anyone wants to join. We will be heading right to Westside Auto for the BBQ and cruise.

Be at C1 right at 4pm.

I was at the Airriders meet on Weds and they say there should be about 100-120 cars there... should be nice weather too. Oh ya if some one needs a place to crash when they get up here they are more than welcome in my humble little condo.

My timing on these VW shows really sucks this year. I'll be in Calgary this weekend at the GT Championship at Race City (marshalling, not driving in case anyone cares).

I'm thinking of heading up Saturday -- yep. But I may just go Sunday morning. I dunno... I prefer Saturday -- Edmonton night life is a fresh awakening compared to Calgary’s! lol
