    The show was very weak this year compared to previous years.

            Went last night, was not overly impressed, but gotta love the exotics and the new TT is pure sex!! Not impressed with the C30 in person and once again the other companies confirmed why I only drive Euros

              Have to agree it was a big disappointing on the whole, the TT was the only car that really impressed me this year. I was expecting more from the C30 interior although the exterior looks nice and the engine is hard to argue with.

                Re: 07 IAS - what's there, what's not && hot || not

                I was pretty dissapointed with the whole Volvo booth. They didn't have an R (which I love), I don't know what was up with that S40, is it an inport? I've never seen that interior before (really ugly) and it had textured rubstrips?

                Also, why they brought a C30 in withought the painted body kit is beyond me, it looks so blah without it. I can't complain too much about IT's interior because I have basically the same one in my car. It really grew on me though and now I love it. A loaded C30 is about 7-8 grand more than a GTI but it does have more equipment too.

                Also, I can't believe how much they are asking for the C70, it's a cool car and I like it but I'd much rather buy an EOS which is easily just as nice and take the 18+ grand and buy something else.

                I feel like i'm trying to stick up for them LOL! I guess maybe 'cause i'm sort of a lone wolf in the Volvo department.

                I thought the show was ok. Lots to see. I kinda like the Mini's I think they would be really fun to drive. There wasn't much wagon love though (big shocker). We did go look at the 9-3 Aero sport combi as I really like that car. I'll have to let Simon drive my V50 so we can compare handling.

                It was cool to see wide wheels on a SMART though. I can see Blair why you want wheels. They were sticking out past the rear flairs!

                  Yeah I am trying to get a set of those 16s from the RCTS booth as I know of some used ones, makes a huge difference to the looks and also going from a 145 tire to a 195 up front gives a lot more stability.

                  I really wanted to like that C30, but yes the model choice was very poor for the show as it can look so much better, and just not sure if it is worth the $$$.

                          the thunder bunny is so sweet im deff going to buy that body kit when the release it and yeah as for those rims a little much but they look good. the nice thing is volkswagens going the extra mile to make performance stuff. well not exactly performance much atleast you can customize your mkv now.also take a look at the brakes on it. oh yeah that interior is custome i haven't seen the inside of many rabits but it looked pretty nice in side. also i have a question why do they have all the german cars in one area and then they have vw on the other side of the show has anybody noticed that

                            I wouldn't say VW is going the extra mile, Neuspeed worked on the engine mods and lots of aftermarket parts on there that aren't exactly installed at a dealership near you... not saying it will never happen but until I see a thunderbunny for sale on the VW website I would say its just a concept car to grab some attention.

                            As far as VW's location at the autoshow, you gotta pay to get a nice spot and I am sure the spots in the back are cheaper than the spots at the front, ya?

                              I think the companies go through a rotation as the second hall is not the best place, because their is usally one of the big domestics and a few others in there but not always the same.

                              Went back again saturday night with Sarah and she picked the M Coupe as her favorite of the show!
