Oh hey Kenn! I didn't even know you were on here, otherwise I would have mentioned the coffee meet. Sorry if I woke you up haha
It went good, just me and Nismodrifter though. We're pretty much thinking once a month meets, at least until we get some more interest going.
We just need to scout out a new meeting place since the Leg lot is now out. Something easy to get to, smooth roads, and preferably a coffee or food place nearby.
I've got a couple places in mind I'm going to check out this week.
I'd be down for a meet sometime. We need to meet some new people up here since its harder to hang out with the Calgz and RD crew now! Also any recomendations on a shop for maintence work since I do not own a garage anymore?
Okay so I finally had some time to go check out some potential meet spots last night and I've narrowed it down to these three.
1. Oliver Square Brewsters
Pretty central location, it has a patio, lots of spaces to park, the lot has speedbumps but they can be avoided.
2. Windsor Car Park
Also central, close to Whyte Ave, smooth roads going to parkade, no speedbumps or anything, really well lit,
cool view from up top, well protected from the rain, close to everything
3. South Common Boston Pizza
It's Boston Pizza in South Common. Not much more to say.
If anyone else has any location ideas please share them!
