  • WT Borrow front bumper...

i know its an odd request, but i'm bringing my front bumper into the body shop tomorrow, so the car can look good for bahnfest. I've been quoted about a week for the work, which really means 2 weeks. and i don't want to cruise around ghetto stylez with the rad haning out. (unless it's somewhat safe to do so) So if any one has a spare jetta front bumper, *ANY COLOR* that i could borrow. i'm sure we could work out a deal involving cash or beer.

    thanks

the final product will be! molded GLI front lip, just in plat. grey

i rock no front bumper all the time, its like a ram air system if you have a cold air intake, and a FMIC for your side mount.

then again, its usually to the shop from my house because my cars too low normally to fit on any hoist or flatbed.

I guess if they are gluing, priming and painting they need 3 days just to let it dry after each stage.

However I think its likely that if they say a week, it will sit in the shop for 5 days then on the 6th day they will start.
