i would like it a little darker then yours...just enough so u can see through it barely..would 25% or even 30% almost be enough u think?

30% would be good but for good reference here is my 35% it honestly depends on the lighting that day and the angle you see it at.

              looks dark

              see through but decent

              dark again

                sweet ride man

ya that totally depends on the angle your looking at it from. I think 30% might be perfect on the black jetta but might go with the lighter

i found a new unpainted gli front spoiler for $100 but was wondering how much it would cost to paint if any body knows?

There is nothing legal for the fronts :(
Where did you find such a cheap gli lip? Ohh and you are looking at about $200 to get it painted.

nope.. the black glis are black magic pearl which is a flaked black paint with pearl aspects

I would bet you can get a lip painted for less. I realize I have "cheaped out" on painting before, but for things like valences or lips I would do so again, its almost impossible to see the difference between a decent job and a great job on a lower valence.

Front and Rear Valences are cheap. I have the front GLI at home. Wait till you get the side skirts. LOCO pricing.
