WTB: 15" rims... for Winter tires 5x100 pattern

Looking for steelies or inexpensive alloys wheels to be used for winter tires or even looking for reasonably priced winter tire/wheel set for wife's 2004 Jetta Wagon TDI, thus the 5x100 bolt pattern 195/60/15 size

Tying to be proactive before winter as I've read/heard that the oem Michelins or terrible in snow.

195/65/15 is what you want, not 60.

i've got what you want, about a year old, tread is nice and soft and like new still. some of the steelies are curbed, its not a big deal. they're blizzaks, ws-50's, best snow tires you can buy!

they're about $150 new, steelies the stealer wants $100 for each or something stupid like that.

anyway, if you want the whole package i can let it go for $500.

Opps yah thanks Bart meant 65. Yes phoned stealer on Friday $110 but Walmart is selling rims at $48.

Kinda a shame putting on steelies in winter when we have currenty have alloys. Was also kinda leaning towards buying new winter tires (wife wants that) and I was wanting to buy Nokian Hakka's or even the WR's.

Hmmm guess also leaning towards alloys - Looked at steelies w/hub cap Sunday afternoon at stealership - don't realy like the look... then looked at all the pictures of of the road trip to Red Deer and all the nice wheels...

So sorry Bart - Have any 15" alloys rims kicking around?

Just a note of caution. I'm not positive what size rotors you have on the front, but non OEM 15" may not fit. I had a set of generic steelies with winter tires that would not clear the front calipers on my GTI. I ended up having to unmount the tires, mount them on OEM steelies, then ship back the generic ones for a credit. If you go 16" no problem, with 15" it might be close.
