  • WTT: Your Monsoon for My AfterMarket Stereo

Hi, im selling my jetta and i know that if i sell it with my aftermarket stereo in it, i wont get a whole lot for it anyway, so im offering anyone here a ridiculously amazing deal, there's only one catch.. all the labour involved is up to you. Basically, i have a $5000(retail) competition car stereo system, (i probably only payed ~$3500 cuz i worked in the bizz) that i have no use for anymore, and i just want a vw stock system in the car to sell it with. If someone is willing to trade their entire stock system, for this system, and is willing to do all the work of swapping it, i will give it to them for $1800. There is some install problem with my car, so my stereo doesnt work right now anyway, and by the time i figure out what wire is loose or grounded, i may as well part it out anyway.. that's why im offering this amazing deal.
here's everything im willing to part out:

Optima Yellow Top ($250) - brand new just installed
    Alpine CDA7995 ($600)
    4x 6.5" PG Octane-R Speakers ($200/pair)
4x PG Tweeters (included with above price)
    2x PG Titanium 10" Subwoofers ($450each)
    1x PG 1500w Octane-R Amp ($1100)
    1x PG 800w Octane-R 4channel amp ($700)
    1x PG 1Farad PowerCap ($300)
    20ft of 1awg wire ($12/ft)
    various wiring components ($300)
custom box w/ powercap displayed in center ($400)

for free im also throwing in 70sq-ft of brownbread dynamatting material that i never got around to installing in my car, that's another $200 if you buy it bulk like i did. (or its over $50 a tube of only 15sq-ft if you buy it locally)

this system is custom built to fit the jetta iv, and i assume if the trunk is the same size for the golf iv, it will be the same.

so if anyone is up to the task of swapping systems, they're about to get a good deal.
