Hey gang,
so, long story short the selector rod in my friend's GTi stripped out, and I need to replace it. They are apparently impossible to acquire from VW, so I am hoping someone has a line on a spare tranny that I could pick up cheap. I don't need the whole transmission, just the selector shaft. Alternatively, I am gonna end up tack welding the shift lever to the selector, which seems really ghetto. haha.
