    WTBorrow: 220V extension cord

    So this is a weird one, but I need to borrow a 220V extension cord for one day. long story short, I need to burn off an oven, and I have been forewarned that the smoke levels will be "call the fire department" bad, so I want to do it outside. I have 220 in my garage, so I need about 10'-15' of extension cord.

    any chance someone has one lying around? there is a frosty 6-pack in it for you.

    Not sure how long mine is, potentially 10'. I'll check tomorrow

      I can make this happen. I have a 25-30' 10-4 cord and I'm a Journeyman Electrician. Let me make or give you something that won't kill yourself.

          Fun facts: An extension cord is called a lead in the UK and we rock 230V all the time.

                And with all that moisture around too, hence why I have to pull a string to turn my bathroom light on!

                  Yah, but it is different. Single phase 240 V.... This is split phase.
