    Hey, I have a complete MK4 BEW EGR kicking around. Cleaned and in perfect condition.

    I'm in Vancouver but can probably ship it fairly cheap if interested.

      Yeah, the MKIV'S came with an alh then switched to the bew in 2004, not sure if they're compatible...

        I could sell you a race pipe and an EGR Delete kit. It's the first thing I install when I buy a TDI. Those EGR's are annoying and make you waste lots of money and time in maintenance.

          Hey guys,

          Still looking for an EGR valve for the ALH engine. Got the MAf. Please let me know if you got one (that works! haha). Would an EGR delete kit pull of p0401 code thus CEL? I just want to go the cheaper route

            It would throw a CEL unless you have a chip at which you could just ask your tuner to tell the ecu to stop looking for the EGR. The cheaper route for parts right now is a replacement EGR. The cheaper route in the long run is the EGR delete due to the fact that you need to clean/decoke your intake every 40,000-60,000 kms and that will either take you a few hours to do yourself, or cost you a couple hundred dollars to bring somewhere else. The EGR delete will make it so you never have to clean your intake again which saves you not only money but peace of mind that it won't clog up and cause you more engine issues down the road.
