    Anyone have a sand blaster they would be willing to let me use? I need to blast the rs faces so I can send them to powder coat

    Yikes, don't sandblast aluminum wheels!

      You need to soda blast them or glass bead? I cant remember. Most places do that as part of what you pay for when powder coating.

        That's what I thought as well, but I asked my metallurgy instructor and he said their structure and strength wouldn't be affected. I looked online after talking to him and people seemed to share the same view. The only wheel material that couldn't be sandblasted was magnesium. Anyways, I'll just get them blasted at Calgary powder coatings to be safe
