Lf: 120a mk3 vr6 alternator

Hey ya'll so I finished my swap and all that jazz, but I accidentally shorted out my alternator when I was putting all the masses of wires back to where they belong..... *shakes head*

My alternator is no longer charging my battery and I need a new one (or used as long as it works)

Natty, Colin and whoever else, if you see this it would be sweet if I could get some pricing on the cheapest one you've got.. a brand new Bosch is like $700... ECS has re-manufactured Bosch ones for $300 but I'm hoping someone has one lying around or can source me one for less.

Thank you everyone!! Oh and if someone has an alternator ground cable lying around for a mk3 vr6 that would be sweet too!

A reman unit is like 325. If yours is rebuild-able im sure someone could rebuild for like 150-200?

Just had a look at another supplier they carry these:

But I have no experience with them at all. But if you want cheap the option is there

Hmmm, there's always the whole "buy nice or buy twice" thing to keep in mind but I can't justify spending $700 on a Bosch. I'm sure one of these would serve it's purpose for a little mk3.

Anyone know if the connectors on a mk4 vr6 alternator can be swapped out with the mk3 ones?
