But there was a very complete 2.8 A6 at pick n pull recently

Maybe pressure test the coolant system if it was already replaced? I went through hell and back replacing every single item in the cooling system to track down a very slight leak through the threads on the coolant bottle cap in my mk4. dumb problem

Evan if this is the one that was in at the shop, it was replaced.......

I haven't even bothered to look under the hood. Haha. It's just been sitting in the driveway. Well that saves me a hassle!

Well now I don't need to worry about it as Colin says it's been replaced, but the one that was swapped out was cracked and pissing coolant everywhere. Thanks for the suggestion though!
