  • RCA converter for double din

If anyone has a Blitzsafe or Soundgate RCA converter for a double din monsoon, I'd love to take it off your hands. If you have one, can you tell me where you got it, and how much you paid for it?

I have one in my gti although it came with it when i bought it. i work for circuit city in the roadshop and we have the metra and soundgate units for around 20 bucks . good luck, just so you know it wont sound nearly as good as upgrading to an aftermarket radio with pre-outs but if you have the monsoon... itll be a nice juicy rewire.

20 bucks???? Damn, I got hosed. Oh well, it's installed and working. I know an aftermarket would sound better, but it's just too much hastle to rewire the whole car to replace the monsoon amp. It sounds as good or better than the cassette adapter I was using up until now, and with the MD installed in the arm rest, it's a totally stealthy install. One less thing to motivate a potential thief to break into my car
