TT brakes are an awesome upgrade. I have them on my MK3 cabrio, and they stop on a dime.

How modded is your TDI? The stock brakes haven't been bad on mine...but any upgrade is good tho.

They work ok but could definitely be better as far as mods go it's a 17/22 car with stage 5 tune .216 nozzles 11mm pump 2.5 turbo back exhaust. Upgraded side mount and piping and over the winter plan on building a 2.0l alh with cam and ported head possibly

Part of wanting tt brakes is I hate the look of the small tdi brakes behind my wheels want something bigger to fill the wheel up

on my tdi build I just went with the brembo drilled rotor option, and a good performance brake pad. you get great braking out of that without spending much at all. I think the brembo drilled rotors are like $50 COST, and pads are like $40.. lol

I have pbr ceramic pads and normal rotors it stops ok but could definitely be better and bigger brakes would look much better

                      Re: audi tt calipers

When I did mine, I just bought a Jetta GLI caliper/carrier set, front and rear off Ebay. IIRC it was ~$350 plus shipping. The rears upgrade the solid rotor to a larger, vented rotor.
Keep in mind you will also need 1.8t/VR6 spindles for the fronts.
