    looking for a clean mk2. preferably with a 1.8t swap but may consider a vr swap.

      I know it's hard to come by but it's much cheaper to buy one then build.

        That depends who built it originally, how they built it, and how reliable it will be when its in your possession. Best of luck with your search though!

          The 1.8T swap is relatively simple. If you find a CE2 mk2 (Late 89-92) the wiring is easier and finding a motor is a lot easier now than when I did my swap. And if you do the swap yourself then you know how it's built and you will find out exactly what needs to be fixed. Because mk2's are 20+ years old now something always needs to be fixed but **** are they fun to drive. Good luck with your search

                      no won't be making it this year. check the forums, we have a couple meets a month. i will post some pics once i get the car cleaned up a bit
